Kim Riley
Tour & Group Specialist
Kim started in the hospitality business over 25 years ago working for Marcus Hotels and Wyndham Hotel & Resorts in sales and as a general manager. She joined Adelman Travel in 2012 as a member of the Rewards Redemption team and transitioned from there to Adelman’sPartner Solutions team. In that role, she was responsible for booking Adelman internal and executive travel. In 2021, Kim moved to the Adelman Discoveries division where she takes great pride in providing excellent service for our customers. She loves to travel and has enjoyed a wealth of experiences. Her favorite destinations are Costa Rica, Hawaii, Italy, Portugal, andPunta Cana, but she’s always looking for new adventures and places to visit. Kim also lovestraveling with her family and creating lasting memories with them.
Vicki Madsen
Tour & Group Specialist
Vicki began working in the hospitality industry almost 20 years ago at a newly opened hotel and waterpark resort in Wisconsin. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a Hospitality Emphasis from University of Wisconsin – Stout. She transitioned into the group travel business where she enjoys getting to know travelers and experiencing new destinations. Vicki joined the Adelman Discoveries team in 2024. With a strong German background, she has been to Germany several times to visit family and explore the country. Vicki and her husband have four rescue cats that they love dearly, including their youngest who was rescued from Kuwait. In their free time, they love to mountain bike, hike, and travel and they’re looking forward to going boating once Vicki’s husband completes the custom boat he has been building from scratch.
Chris Brough
National Sales Manager
Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Entrepreneurship from Fresno State University. Chris joined Adelman Discoveries in 2007 as Business Development Manager and continues to build and maintain relationships with Adelman’s clients across the U.S. He has traveled extensively throughout the U.S. and internationally to Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Cuba, Chile, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Hungary, Mexico, Netherlands, Slovakia, Spain, Thailand, and Turkey. In his leisure time, Chris enjoys spending time with his family, snowboarding, camping, traveling, and doing home improvementprojects.
Matt Richardson
Marketing & Design Specialist
Matt earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing with a Minor in Graphic Design from University of Wisconsin – La Crosse. He joined the Adelman Discoveries team in 2022 and has developed a passion for travel and the travel industry over the last few years. Matt particularly enjoys international travel and has visited France, Greece, Ireland, Portugal, Scotland, Spain and the United Kingdom. The next destination on his travel bucket list is Southern Italy. In his leisure time, Matt enjoys running, golfing, snowboarding, photography, spending time with family and friends, and of course traveling.
Valerie Moore
Group Air Specialist
Valerie has worked in the travel industry for over 20 years, and she brings extensive experiencein customer service, airfare ticketing, and group travel coordination to her role. Prior to joining Adelman Discoveries in 2023, she held various positions supporting both leisure and corporate travel. Valerie is known for her calm, solution-focused approach and commitment to delivering seamless travel experiences. She currently lives in the Midwest and enjoys traveling to warm weather destinations with rich musical and cultural roots, particularly the Caribbean. Outside of work, Valerie is passionate about R&B music history and doing radio & voiceover work.
Martín Morante
Onsite Tour Manager
Martín is a native of Uruguay who emigrated to the United States 20 years ago. He now resides in Wisconsin where he works as a driver for a special needs transport company. He joined Adelman Discoveries as a tour manager in 2022. Martín is also an accomplished visual artist, and he speaks fluent English and Spanish and is conversational in French, Italian, and Portuguese. An avid traveler, Martín takes every opportunity to explore different countries, and he is very interested in the culture and history of the places he visits. He has traveled extensively throughout North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia. Past destinations include Argentina, Austria, Brazil, Canada, Costa Rica, Curaçao, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Nicaragua, Scotland, Spain, and Switzerland. His favorite destinations to date are Mexico and Vietnam. In his spare time, Martin enjoys model making, reading, standup paddleboarding, hiking, road tripping, and cooking. He also participates in a variety of volunteer activities, most recently delivering meals through Meals on Wheels.
Claudine Morante
Onsite Tour Manager
Claudine is an executive assistant and a Certified Associate Project Manager (CAPM). As an event planner for her company, Claudine combines her passion for meeting and engaging people with her gift for organization. She joined Adelman Discoveries as a tour manager in 2022. An avid traveler, Claudine has traveled extensively throughout Europe. Past destinations include Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. She has also traveled to Canada, Mexico, Uruguay, and New Zealand. A native of Wisconsin, Claudine now resides in Alabama. She previously spent two years living in Germany and is very familiar with life in Europe, particularly along the Rhine River having spent many hours traveling alongside it by train and on it by river cruise. Claudine believes it is important to give back to her community. She is a retired volleyball coach, and she frequently volunteers her time doing animal rescues and transports. In her free time, she loves to work on craft projects and take long walks with her three dogs.
Marvin McDaniel
Business Development Manager
Marvin is an experienced travel veteran with over 50 years in the industry. He has extensive destination knowledge and experience hosting groups on six continents. After graduation from Missouri State University in 1971, he received his commission as an Ensign in the US Navy Reserves. Following three years on active duty traveling throughout Asia, he entered the travel industry and eventually retired from the Navy as a Commander in 1991. He previously owned his own retail agency and was also a principle in an online agency selling hotel reservations, which went public and sold in 2001. Today, he and his wife Donna host groups throughout the world, many of which sell out months in advance.
Angela Abbate
SVP, Vacation brands
Angela directs Adelman’s vacation brands, which include Adelman Vacations and our group affinity travel divisions, Adelman Discoveries and Food & Wine Trails. Angela began her travel career over 30 years ago as a corporate travel consultant and has since worked in corporate operations, account management, partner relations, and vacation and group operations. In addition to leading the vacation brands teams, Angela is also involved in business development and management of small incentive groups. She is passionate about travel and loves incorporating culinary experiences into her adventures. Angela’s past travels include France, Netherlands, Switzerland, UK, Mexico, and several Caribbean islands. Her favorite destinations are Koblenz, Germany, and Florence, Italy, as well as the Hawaiian island of Maui and the French Polynesian island of Moorea.
